not put annoying advertisements at the top of the page.
Everyone understands why you put in ads. But why put them at the top of the page. Some of the ads flash and do other extremely annoying things. They waste prime screen space and seriously degrade the user experience you are trying to create.

We’ve already removed some of the more annoying ad publishers and are working on getting more high-quality ads. We’re also pleased to be part of the Facebook Ad Network test, so you may see some of their ads from time to time. Let us know how you feel about the current ad mix.

I look at this with kids, I am upset with the "find a date" ads with the pics that they use.

Nix the advertising that looks like its part of the app.

Ads such as the "Crush Center" are misleading and fraudulent. Have you seen the " stop telling me someone has a crush on me" posting? The ads you run are a reflection of the values of FamilyLink.com.
Why not remove ads at the top of the page and just put them at the bottom?

Use Firefox and the add-on Adblock Plus.
