Connect family trees with others when they match
You could find new relatives, or learn about other relatives that you did not know because of this. Its like many people working on one family tree, and filling in things you never knew about your family!!

stop sending me notifications asking me to add relatives.
I do not want to receive notifications from you daily, asking me to add relatives to my family.
Stop sending me notifications about the same possible relatives over and over again. It's really irritating and i'm about to remove the application if it doesn't stop.

Fix the ability to add the relationship
When i try to add the relationship of someone, it doesn't save.
I've also confirmed relatives and I still get the request from the same person no matter how many times i confirm.

Status: startedWe've started working through the issue that's preventing it from working correctly this time. If you're still having problems we suggest clearing your cache and then trying again. If it's still not working then, don't worry we're still looking into it.

let me rearrange order in which relatives appear
I arranged them initially, but now that I've added new relatives (cousins of hubby), they appear above hubby, mom, sisters, etc. in the box on my main profile page and I can't find a way to rearrange them.

not put annoying advertisements at the top of the page.
Everyone understands why you put in ads. But why put them at the top of the page. Some of the ads flash and do other extremely annoying things. They waste prime screen space and seriously degrade the user experience you are trying to create.
Status: startedWe've already removed some of the more annoying ad publishers and are working on getting more high-quality ads. We're also pleased to be part of the Facebook Ad Network test, so you may see some of their ads from time to time. Let us know how you feel about the current ad mix.

send email reminders for family birthdays and anniversaries
I'd like to get reminded 7 days before any relative has a birthday or anniversary, and then again 1 day before, just in case I didn't do anything about it the first time.

let me add more relatives
Everyone, Facebook is the one who sets the limit of the relative requests that we send. There are many apps who spam other users which has caused Facebook to limit the number of requests sent per day. One thing you can do is come back the next day and you will be able to add more relatives. Right now, you can add 20 relatives PER DAY.

let me add my son's dad without adding him as my spouse
My son's dad is not my spouse but it automatically says he is. As well the application won't let me post a story for him on his family tree profile page. I click post and it takes forever and doesn't update it.

stop erasing my info, i have to keep adding relatives
I added relatives who requested me and they don't show up on my relatives page, and when i go to my requests page there they are again. I had 10 relatives but then i check my profile and i had none so i had to re add everyone. This app needs some serious work done to it!
Status: startedSeveral weeks ago many accounts were split in our database so that it seemed that all their relatives disappeared. We are in the process of re-merging those accounts and once it is done all your relatives will show up again.

Please get gedcom uploads working again. (Nov 2008)

Nix the advertizing that looks like its part of the app.
The fake IQ, challenges, crush ads that look like they are part of the app. stink. I'm dropping the app if they don't go. They are misleading and I cant tell what is part of the program and what is an ad.

show entire family tree not just the lineage of one person
It would make creating my family tree much easier and useful if my name showed up in the middle and the tree added boxes around me instead of me having to select one person at a time and adding to them. It's frustrating not being able to see the whole picture.

let me choose from my facebook friends list properly
I can't select the right people, it comes up with the same people but gives you no way to scroll or type someon name to select.

I added another relative the other day -- and the display screen when I looked at it yesterday (3-26) is completely different fromw what I saw a week ir so ago.. Noq I see only some of my relatives, and there is no way to scroll up or down that I see to be able to view all the relatives. AMoreove... more
Status: plannedA fix is in the plan. However in the meantime there is a hack to get around it for users. If you pick up a relative in your last row of relatives that you can see, and then drag it downward it will reveal more of your relatives and you can do this until you can edit them all.

actually work
Your facebook application is frustrating and does not work. I can't even update family members - not to mention you send email after email to them when I am just trying to update their relationship to me. Also, don't make me select family members just to confirm a relative - from one programmer... more

enhance email so I can click on photos to send a message
I'd like to be able to click on any relatives photo and then have an ajax box slide over or popup that allows me to write a message and send it really easily. I need something visual (like YackPack) to help me remember to stay in touch with the people that I care about the most.
